An agreement would prevent tariffs and trade barriers. Companies on both sides of the Channel could continue to do business as before. However, the negotiating positions appear too deadlocked. It is questionable whether and how the \u201cstalemate\u201d can be resolved. What consequences would a no-deal Brexit have for the economy? Which legal bases apply?
