A no-deal Brexit and its consequences – According to the current status of negotiations between the EU and Great Britain, the conclusion of a trade agreement could fail. An agreement would prevent tariffs and trade barriers. Companies on both sides of the Channel could continue to do business as before. However, the negotiating positions appear too deadlocked. It is questionable whether and how the “stalemate” can be resolved. What consequences would a no-deal Brexit have for the economy? Which legal bases apply?
